Help..Ava is spitting up mucous.
I've never seen this before with her, and I don't know what it's from.

I think she's ok....sometimes if they have allergies and wake up congested, it'll drain down their throats.
If it's bloody or a wierd color, then worry. I think she's ok. If it keeps up, call the dr.
ETA: I know you pump...have you had more than your usual intake of dairy? Dairy products increase mucous

I think i rember you mentioning she has AR right? That might just be it. My friend's baby used to find the milk in her nose.

Gianna does the same thing, on occasion she spits up mucuous and sometimes it comes out the other end. I asked my PED at her 2 month appt, and he says it's normal

Miranda would do that from time to time with her reflux. It could be something you ate that isn't agreeing with her as well. My ped. always said that the mucous can be a sign of an "allergy" so to speak. Did you have something new or a lot of dairy or something yesterday?
Don't panic though it's pretty common with the AR.
