d&c recovery

Sorry if this is TMI, but for those who have had a d&c, did you experience bleeding afterwards? I am 3 days post, and so far, no bleeding. My OB/GYN told me to expect it for several days after, and then I would get AF about 5 weeks later, but as of right now, I haven't had any bleeding. Also, how long after the procedure did you get AF?

Only right after when i was in the recovery room. I got AF 24 days later

I have had a d&c and d&e.... After both, I had no bleeding. I actually bought overnight pads (after my d&e.. and still had them around for my next loss) and was shocked that they weren't even needed!

eta: I don't have regular cycles so I never got AF after either.

I had the same procedure and i did not have any bleeding or cramping
AF came about 20days later, not certain on the extact days

Cool, thanks. I just wanted to make sure that was normal. For some reason, I was expecting the recovery to be worse...maybe its because this was my first surgery, but I am glad it was as easy as it was.

I didn't have any bleeding after my D&C. Under the circumstances my doctor was amazing. I didn't even have any pain or discomfort. FYI- I was told bleeding can come up to a week later, so don't be surprised if that happens.

I ended up getting AF 5w/2d after D&C.

I had heavy bleeding the day of
the procedure, but then light the day after. I got AF about 4 week later.
