Moms of ~3 month olds ...
Just wondering what your baby's typical day is like. Is s/he STTN? How often does s/he eat? Do you have a set bedtime/night routine? WHat activities do you during the day? Etc ...
My DD is 12 weeks today (3 months next Sat).
She tends to sleep 7 or 8 hours a night so she gets up at different times, depending on when she actually goes to sleep. She's EBF, and eats about every 4 hours during the day, and come evening time, it's more like every 2 hours (so it seems to be about 6 feedings a day). She takes about a 3-4 hour nap in her swing during the day (amazing to me - her older sis did nothing like that!!). But doesn't sleep much outside of that (cat naps here and there). She's been going to bed anywhere between 8:30 and 11 pm. She's still in the RnP in our room but I'm thinking I'll be doing a switch to a bassinet (co-sleeper type) in our room to see how she does sleeping flat, and then move her to her room when she starts going to bed around 6:30 (I don't remember when my older DD started doing that, but by 4 or 5 mos I think?). During her awake time, she goes on her play mat, in her bouncer, in her Infant to Toddler Rocker, watches her mobile in her crib, we read some books.
I feel like I should start incorporating more of a real nighttime routine at this point (our days seem more set), but I'm never sure when she's done eating for the day, so I don't know at what time to start it!

Re: Moms of ~3 month olds ...
by 12 weeks my DD was sleeping at least 8 hours at night, sometimes without waking. But at 4 months now, she sleeps about a 5 hour stretch at night and then another 3 after that, about 8 total. Sometimes another 2 or 3 hour stretch before or after the 5 hour one. I think 4 hours between feedings during the day is too long, especially when she then eats every 2 hours at night... she has her days and nights mixed up. why don't you feed her 2 hours during the day and let her go the 4 hour stretches during the night?
ETA: she usually wakes up 7 am on the dot, bedtime is anywhere between 7pm-10pm... never consistent. She always takes at least 2 naps, usually a morning nap somewhere between 8:30-10:00 am and an afternoon nap somewhere between noon-2pm. Each nap lasts at least an hour, sometimes 2 full hours. she eats every 2-3 hours during the day and I stretch her out as long as possible at night, usually one 4-8 hour stretch.

Oh no, she eats every 2 hrs from like 4 pm to 8 or 10 pm. Not through the night! She actually never had her days/nights confused, thank goodness!! (always went to sleep right after a middle of the night feeding). But I can probably try to shorten her daytime feedings to every 3 hours to see if that can make her bedtime earlier.

Re: Moms of ~3 month olds ...
DD is 14 weeks tomorrow, and her schedule sounds pretty similar to yours. She is formula fed, and eats every 3-4 hours during the day, sometimes a little longer if she's napping. She sleeps between 7-9 hours at night, going down between 10-12 and waking up between 6-8 in the morning usually. She will usually go back down for a pretty good nap after her first morning bottle. We don't really have a set nap schedule otherwise, but she usually gets pretty tired after being up for about 2ish hours, and she'll fall asleep anywhere from 20mins to 2 hours after that. As far as activity, we do pretty much the same stuff over here too!

At 3 months DD was STTN. Her routine was and still is she would get her last bottle at 8pm and then bed by 8:30pm She wakes up around 7am. She is fed then usually dozes off around 9:30 for maybe 30-45 mins. She is up to eat her next bottle, then is up until about 3 hours later for her next bottle (about 1:30pm) she then goes down for a nap and can sleep anywhere from 3-4 hours. She gets up has another bottle and is up until what we call her witching hour (between 7-8). We distract her/play with her (every other night is a bath) until 8pm then she gets her bottle. She is FF.

My DD is also 12 weeks and sleeps about 8 hrs at night and then after feeding goes back to sleep for 1 or 2 hrs, but after that she only ever takes very short naps during the day, usually about 30 min or an hour if I'm lucky. I would love it if she took longer naps. When she's alert I put her on her playmat or show her simple toys. I feel the same as you, wondering if I should be doing more w her or have a better routine. I figure once she can hold her head up I will be able to sit her up in her activity seat and play with her more.

Re: Moms of ~3 month olds ...
My girls are about 15 weeks.. they go to bed at 6 or 7 at night.. and wake up at 6 or 7 the next morning for the day. They wake once in the middle of the night for a bottle (typically around 2 am) When they wake up in the morning, they are up for about 1 hour and then go back down for a nap. They eat every 4 hours during the day and take 2 solid naps during the day (2 hours each) sometimes I get a 3rd nap around 4 pm but not always.. We've been very diligent about creating a routine for sleep.. This has been the schedule for about a month now... the girls thankfully are doing great.. we're really lucky!

DD is 12 weeks. She sleeps anywhere from 6-8 hours at night. She usually goes to bed around 10. She is FF and eats about every 3 hours during the day 6ozs offered each time. Depending on what time she has her evening bottle we start to wind down for the day. Lights are dim and we do more quiet play read books etc. We may do a bath and I massage bedtime lotion before I put her in her pajames. If she takes her last bottle around 9 I can get her to bed by 10. During the day we use the activity mat, bouncer some times I just play with her having her sit on my lap and move from sitting to standing with my guidance. She is fascinated by her toes! And when I hold her standing on my lap she can bear some weight and she smiles and giggles at me.

DD is 16 or 17 weeks...idk, she will be 4 mo on the 17th. She does whatever she wants between when she wakes up at 6 or 7 and 8:15pm. This includes two or three small naps and one longer one. She takes about 7 bottles (4 oz.) between 6am and 7pm. She's up most of the day though. Then at 8:15 she gets a bath. I do baby massage with lotion after that and swaddle her. She gets a 6oz bottle around 8:45 and is asleep by 9. She doesn't wake up in the middle of the night.

Re: Moms of ~3 month olds ...
DD is 3 weeks today and I need help getting get to bed early! She used to have a witching hour from 6pm to midnight with little to no sleep so it's been hard to transition her to a routine and early bedtime - she is just not having it!
Anyway she goes down around midnight...sometimes we can get her down at 10-11 but most nights its 12am or later. She sleeps 10 hours, not straight, up around 6am eats and goes right back down. Wakes at 10am and is happy as a lark. I get her changed and she eats around 10:30-11:00am. By 12-12:30pm she is swaddled and put down for a nap. During this nap she will sleep 4-5 hrs if I let her go. But I wake her after 3 hours. She eats again and usually takes another nap but sometimes she doesn't and eats again. After that things are all over the place. We try to put her down by 8-8:30pm. If she fusses or cries hard I rock her or feed her and keep trying to put her down! So hard!!! She just fights it and them gets overtired!
Anyway for play time she goes on her play mat or sits in her boppy! I show her flash cards and toys. She also loves being on her changing table so she hangs there and I sing to her or show her books. She likes looking at herself in the mirror so we do that every day! And thats about it! If its nice we go for a walk!
Oh and she eats 5x a day - usually 4 hours apart but at night after 4pm 2-3 hours apart. I think she is taking in 4-5oz and she is breastfed.

My girls will be 12 weeks on mon. They go to bed anywhere from 10-11. They sleep about 6-6.5 hrs, get another bottle then sleep another 4/5. Then they get another bottle and play and sleep a bit. They eat every 3 hrs until their 10/11 feeding. The feeding before this one is their witching hour. During the day they have been up a bit more now lately. We try to entertain them with their mobile, talking, etc. sometimes the just get cranky and want to sleep though.

Re: Moms of ~3 month olds ...
My DS is 3.5 mo old. And his schedule is pretty much the same as yours, as a matter of fact I could have written it word to word. I'm thinking I'll start some kind of routine when he is around 6 months or so , for now he is on his own schedule.

Re: Moms of ~3 month olds ...
My DS is a little over 2 months old and sleeps 8-10 hours every night. still has a bottle every 3 hours during the day(6 feedings) and mostly cat naps during the day. No set nap schedule during the day, but i'm just grateful for the sleep at night that i can handle him being up all day!
