DIVERSITY IS THE KEY.. ds has a 529 bc imo he will go to college or a trade school or some type of 2ndary education and if he doesn't we can give it to a sibling. college is pretty much like high school now a days and I am not concerned of the what if all my kids do not go to school.
we also have a regular savings account that I will start to manage with stocks when he gets a decent amount of money in it.
Upromise is awesome def check it out. just this year in online shopping and using the credit card we got 300 dollars of FREE money into ds account

we have a 529 and a seperate savings account for each or which we buy cds with until the interest rates rise again.
