My ds will be 5 months old next week. He goes to day care Wed/thur the other days he is with family. Sun I noticed he wasn't feeling well. I couldn't leave work early or take off Monday due to someone already out. So my dh left early and took him to doc. He has 1st ear infection & got put on antibiotics. So far taken two doses doesn't seem better yet. I stayed home from work today. I had one more sick day till jan 1st. You use them or lose them. Since he is not feeling good still and medicine hasn't worked yet I do not feel comfortable sending him to daycare tomorrow. My dh cannot reschedule his day. I want to stay home one more day so medicine will kick in and he will be less uncomfortable on thurs at daycare. I wouldn't get paid, I have never taken a day at work I didn't have, been their 8 yrs

I would send him to daycare unless he has a fever.
My DS always goes to daycare unless it is one fo the items on their list...fever, loose stools etc.
