Gonal F
My Dr had to swtich me from Follistim to Gonal F due to Insurance purposes. How do I use it. I didn't think to ask. Isn't it pre-filled? Is it like loading the Follistim pen. I have to take 2 shots tonight. I only have 100 left in my pen for Follistim so I would need to take 75 of Gonal F. You tube is blocked at work so I have rely on the internet. Please help!

My gonal F was a prefilled pen that I just dialed up to the dose needed...really easy

You have to prime the pen before your first use - it's a 37.5 dose that you just put into the sink. Then load up your first dose and inject. I suggest you watch the video, though.

it's exactly like follistim - needs to be refridgerated and is a cartridge that goes in a pen

I got the Meds yesterday but now don't need anymore. The pharmamcy did the wrong one and I have the one with the powder and needles. Ugh..don't know how I feel about this! I rather have the pen!! Once it's delivered it can not be returned. Hopefully I took my last fertitlity Injection Shot!!!
