can you educate me?

i have my dr appt on wednesday and there is not doubt in my mind that there will be no heartbeat. I just *know*

my question is what comes next? this is my second MC sop what tests get done? what steps do I have to get og and STAY pg?

sorry but I would love to know the road ahead of me as soon as possible so that I can accept it and prepare for it

I'm sorry you had a MC. That's really tough, but why are you convinced there won't be a hb this time? Every pregnancy is different. How far along will you be at your sono?

what happens now? what testing gets done? bloodwork? the dr did a tissue test on my first MC unbeknownst to me so i assume the new dr will do the same and compare?

It's hard to really comment on your situation without knowing more about WHY you are so convinced this is a miscarriage. I have had heavy clotting, VERY heavy bleeding, and babies were still fine.

Anyway, if this is a loss like you think it is, since it's your 2nd you should investigate a recurrent loss panel to see if there are clotting issues, etc contributing to the losses.

if this is a loss i agree u might want to see a specialist i
