Question about holiday photo cards
Do you think the cards with a lot of pictures on them are 'too much'? I don't know why, but I always think that people might think it's obnoxious. I mean, I don't know who wouldn't want a collage of pictures of my adorable children , but I just want to know if I'm the only one who thinks this.

Question about holiday photo cards
I love the cards with multiple pictures on them! I actually get a little sad when there's only one picture on the card. But I'm a picture person to begin with.

Question about holiday photo cards
I don't think it is. I think I'm leaning that route this year because I don't think I'm going to get that one good pic.

Re: Question about holiday photo cards
I don't think they are obnoxious, but my concern when making my cards is that if I put too many pictures the really good ones might kind of get lost. I am in sick in the head like that though. I usually end up doing about 3 on the front of the card- so I can really showcase the good ones.

Question about holiday photo cards
i think it depends on the family dynamic and personal taste. personally, i love single photos if there is only 1 child. i find it a little overkill to have like 5 pictures of the same kid in different outfits/poses. however if you have a family shot and a child shot, or a shot of more than one kid together and then individual shots of each kid, IMO that's fine. even 2 of the same kid is fine i just don't personally prefer when the card loses focus cause there are so many pictures. i think one perfect or fun shot tells a whole story.
ETA - i dont think ive ever thought it was overkill to receive SOMEONE ELSE"S card with lots of pictures - i just mean that in my personal taste when i create my cards i try to stick to one or two pictures.

Question about holiday photo cards
I'm a picture person, so I like pictures but I think there is a point where it's overdone. I like to stick to 3~4 pictures so that each one gets showcased and they are not lost in the shuffle, so to speak.

Re: Question about holiday photo cards
I thought maybe it would be obnoxious too, but I couldn't decide on which picture to use (I loved a lot of them!) and she's my first and I just think she's the best thing ever and everyone needs to see her, LOL. So...I chose 3 pictures on the front and one of the back! I'm a crazy first time mom and I know it. Oh well...the card is so cute though. I wouldn't judge you

Re: Question about holiday photo cards
I just had this dilemma.
I have 1 child and couldn't get a nice Christmas picture. What I did was chose a card with 6 slots. I did one of me & dh, one family pic, and then a picture of DD in each season.
I thought it might be overkill...because I only have one child....but I didn't care. I love it!

Re: Question about holiday photo cards
I love photo cards. Even when dealing with IF, I loved seeing photos of everyone's kids. That said, one couple always sends out these accordion-style cards with like 8-9 photos on it. I think that's a bit much, and usually roll my eyes at it. Honestly, they did that before the had their DS, because the first one that I remember getting was a card with a montage of 9 photos of the front..and one was her sonogram! That was just TOO much for me (and it was way before we were trying to TTC, so my feelings were not IF related).
Otherwise, I have no problems with any photo cards.

Question about holiday photo cards
IF you have a large accordion or fold out then more the merry. I just personally don't care for thumbnail sized images just for the sake of having 10 or more photos on a 4x6 single panel card.

Re: Question about holiday photo cards
I don't think they're too much, but personally I'd rather see one nice clear photo of the kids than 3 or 4 tiny ones where you can't really make out faces. But in any case, I'm just happy to get a card!
