What is your 18 mos old boy wearing to keep warm in this weather (jacket wise)
I feel like it's tough b/c I know they're not supposed to have a puffy thing on in the car seat but I doubt whether fleece keeps them warm enough, kwim?
Please include rec's on where to buy or links too! thanks!

I have a DD, and if she's just going to be in the car, she wears her outfit (onesie and sweater/sweatshirt) and a thin fleece-lined windbreaker. If we're going to be outside or get out of the car, I have the Children's Place 3 in 1 coat. I'll just switch coats quickly in the car.

In the car he just wears a hooded sweatshirt. We just run really fast into the store or whatever.
If we're going to a park or something then I'll bring his puffy jacket and put it on when we get there.
I should mention though that we have a garage so our car is usually warm. And it heats up really quick.
I did the same last year (no carseat cover or anything) and he was just fine.

DD has a North Face. It is not that puffy at all. She wears it in the car and I am not troubled by it at all.

We have North Face fleeces. They are definitely warm enough for this weather and thin enough for the carseats. We also have the Gap warmest jackets that we will use if we go out in the snow or are going to be taking a walk/ playing outside for a while!

Re: What is your 18 mos old boy wearing to keep warm in this weather (jacket wise)
If we are going to be indoors and just a quick walk from the car to indoors, they only wear a onesie, shirt and fleece sweater ( or Sherpa jacket). I always take their 4 in 1 jacket and their snow bunting with me in the van just in case ( you never know!)
If we are out for a long time ( we take 1 to 2 hour walks around our neighborhood 3 to 4 times a week), I put thermal underwear ( baby longjhons) a thermal shirt with their fleece or Sherpa jacket and put them in the Ll bean snow bunting. Depending on how cold, I might just do the thermal clothing with the 4 in 1 jacket from Osh Kosh. I am a bit overprotective...lol!

We have the Children's Place 3 in 1 coat. I just take it off when we are going into the car. I always keep my car very warm so he doesn't need it.

He has two very warm fleeces, one is Timberland (looks like a north face). He wears that and I layer him underneath (long sleeve onesie and sweater). Also have a heavier coat in car in case I feel he needs it when we get out of the car. He is only 13m but wears 18m lol
