Insurance question
Hi ladies...sorry to crash your board, but I have a question about infertility benefits. I looked up my benefits and it says that in-network is covered for 100% of eligible expenses and that the following services are covered: Health services and associated expenses for infertility treatments. Includes Donor Oocytes. Then it says that there is a $25,000 lifetime max combined in and out of network.
I know I could call my insurance company and talk to them, but I'm just not ready to take that step yet...can any of you ladies tell me what this means?

Insurance question
My insurance doesn't cover infertility, so I'm no help. I would think you're in good shape as long as you stay with in network.

Insurance question
My insurance covers 100% of eligible expenses in network and 80% out of network. I had to go out of network and assumed I'd be reimbursed 80%. But I didn't do enough research into the "eligible" expenses. Turns out, not everything is "eligible" under my plan and after all was said and done, my total reimbursement was closer to 50%.
Call the insurance company and get more details into the word "eligible."
