Potty Help!!

Ok, potty training questions for you BTDT mommies...
How often should i be asking my DD to sit on the potty.. I have been having her sit on the potty for almost a month now and she did great but today we put on undies so no more diapers and im so stressed shes going to pee or worse poop on my carpet lol.
I feel like I just keep saying do you want to or have to go potty again and i dont want to make her nervous or upset about the potty since she seems to like it now.. .Soo help me out here... how often should i ask her and how often should u "make" her sit...

Potty Help!!

We never asked or made DS sit. We let him be naked for 3 days until he learned to let us know. He had a few accidents but eventually he learned that he has to tell us ( he was almost 23 months old)

We did the same thing. We rolled up the rugs and put away anything that would be bad to get pee on. DS was just over 2.

Potty Help!!

We never asked her if and when she had to go. We did the three day potty training method. Just constantly remind DC to tell you when he or she needs to go. I would say " tell mommy/ daddy when you nee to go potty," " don't forget to tell mommy/daddy when you need to go potty. "

I also did the 3 day method. Set your kitchen timer for every 15-20 minnutes. Then when it goes off, sing and dance a potty song as you cha cha to the bathroom. Try to make it as fun as possible. Then if she goes potty, cheer like it's the best thing you've ever seen! Some parents give and m&m every time their child goes. My son just had so much fun singing and dancing and getting cheered for, that I never brought in the candy part. After a few days, they get it and tell you.

Your child WILL have accidents. Try not to get too upset...

Also, you can get padded undies, so the mess isn't too bad. Here are some links to potty accessories I found useful:

Re: Potty Help!!

Thanks for all the advice guys! Yesterday was a very succesful day one of no diapers!! We had no accidents and she went poopy on the potty too. So far today shes been doing awesome too.
I made a big deal about How her Big Girl Undies are soo cool and she dosnt want to get them wet, and she realy seemed to enjoy that. Then i asked her every 15mins do you need to go potty And every 30 mins said lets try n potty, If she went potty we would jump up and down and sing the potty song she loves it.. LOL, shes doing so great i hope it keeps up like this and maybe she will be trained in a week :)
