what can I do to get my 19 month old to sleep through the night again??
for the past 2 weeks my ds has been getting up around 12 am and will cry to be taken out. normally I would have him CIO but I have tenants who live below us as well as my 4yr old and 6mo old in the other rooms. he has always been a great sleeper but now, for some reason he cries to come out and does NOT go back in. we will lay with him on the couch for a few hours, try to put him back in his crib and he freaks! what else can I do? I have tried giving him some motrin (hes a very bad teether and still has some big ones coming in), just recently cut his nap down to only an hour or so, I dont know what else to do. I dont know whether this is really just from teething or the fact that he knows we are going to take him out. any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

My SIL is going through this with my nephew. Same age. At first, it was teething, but, now it's the "If I scream my head off and wake up my parents and big brother, they'll come get me" game. LOL
The only thing that worked for me was CIO. That's hard for you though in an apt. What about a white noise machine? We have a GREAT one that my kids love. It's from BB&B, made by homedics. Plays a "show" on the ceiling and music.

Could also be a sleep regression. My daught has gone through them and they pass. I'm sure it's just a phase and will pass. I feel for you though. It's annoying. I'm waiting for DD to go through her next one.
