Re: Electric out

i think she will flip but we will have flashlight/candles and play with every single one of her toys. listen to music. i saw this on pinterest and thought it looked like it would keep her busy for a while.

WTF????? What's wrong with the OP's question??

- When we were younger we used to play "camping" and make a tent with a sheet and chairs.
- Indoor picnic
- Take out a new toy/toy that's been packed away
- If you have a battery op radio, have a dance party
- If you have a DD let her play dress up with some of your old clothes/accessories

Re: Electric out

i had ordered 2 kiwi boxes that we didn't use yet so we'll do that, and any other crafty things i can find
and of course play with lots of other non electric toys
we stocked up on batteries and have a couple of huge flashlights so it should be pretty bright as far as lighting goes

Electric out

I should probably think about this, considering I have to work from home. DD loves her stuffed animals and can play her game called "What's your name" for 7 hours straight. I think I am going to pick up play dough, markers, glue, crayons, and coloring books.

Re: Electric out

I can keep the tablet and 3DSs charged using the car, so DC don't have to "rough it" and be stranded without any electronics for too long.

They often play in their toyroom with non-electronic toys on a regular basis. They love building with wooden blocks, Legos, or plastic cups.

I pad, we have a ton of games on there and Netflix to watch movies...car chargers in case battery gets low.

We saved a bunch of toys from his b-day that are not open yet, so figure we open a new toy.

PlayDoh & coloring books

Re: Electric out

I have some new Christmas toys ready to go. She loves flash lights. I'll break out some Play dough. I got a car charger for our kindle fire and we downloaded some shows she likes.
