fluid check?
Hope this isnt a silly question but how do they "check your fluids"? My doctor hasnt said anything about this..I know its just too early- 32 weeks but I just want to know what to expect. TIA!

I'm wondering this too. I had my last sono at 36 weeks and now that I'm closing in on 39 weeks, I'm wondering how they know everything is still okay in there.
I'll be asking this question at my doc appt. tomorrow.

They do it at your sono. measure the fluid pockets around the baby-- they did it for me 3x in the last month before I had my daughter

most dr's do a growth sono at 36 weeks... at which time they will check your fluid. as long as everything is fine, they don't check it again until after your due date - and each practice has different protocols. my due date was tuesday, they did a biophysical profile on me yesterday - fluid was perfect. if nothing happens, i go back next monday and friday and they will continue to check it.
