Home Depot projects with kids
Anyobe ever go with their kids to Home Depot when they do projects? DH was going this weekend with DS. Wondering if it's any good. The guy said it was a big deal this saturday.
Any other stores that does stuff like this?
Thanks!

It is a lot of fun. Both of my kids really enjoy the projects (ages 5 and 3). This month is a fire truck. Next month is a turkey napkin holder.

They are so cute. It's the first Saturday of the month by us.
Lowe's also does it every Saturday.

Lowes and Home Depot both do it. If you look at some of my craft projects you’ll see AJ still uses the orange apron that Home Depot gave her. She’s done the ‘tool box’ at 3yrs old. She LOOOVED it! At that point it is still heavy on parent participation.
But ours are free and not usually booked solid so fun and easy.

DH and Mas are going Saturday. Tell your guys to go if you guys are around. The guy I spoke with said this weekends a big one... Or was it special one. I forget, but see if he wants to meet them there. You know my DH will come home with some more tools and stuff a well.

Re: Home Depot projects with kids
DH is bringing DS and DD to home depot tomorrow too We have done it in the past. The last time we went the kids had to build a boat. The employees are there to help. I think that DH and I needed more help than the kids did It was fun though...my kids really enjoyed it!
