not to gross anyone out..but i figured all or some of you
have been through this..anyway how would i know if i lost my mucous plug? im a week late so im trying to be aware of everything..today i went to bathroom and wiped..and there was just some clear discharge which was a thicker than normal..it did have some brown tint to it probably due to the internal i had on friday..but i wiped once..it was there..then from then on there has been nothing..am i supposed to find more thick mucous? or is it just a some...i dont know whats going on..i just dont want to be too dramatic but at this point im PAST DUE so im looking to find signs..thank you!!

Not to be gross, but if you blew your nose and had some brownish blood streaks in it...that's what your mucous plug looks like. Mine came out over 2-3 days. On the third day, my water broke.

OMG..thats what it looked like!!! but i only saw it with the one wipe.. but i thought it was brownish because of the internal they gave me on friday..omg maybe this baby will come out on her own!!! im so excited....oh crap!! IM NERVOUS

My doctor reached up there and ripped something out when he did my internals because I was bleeding. Then the next day, I wiped and brown streaky stuff came out. The same the next day as well. By the 3rd day I woke up and my water broke. I had him by that night.
I've read that some women have gone another week after they lost their plug.
Don't be nervous!! You're finally going to meet your little cutie!!!

i know ive heard some women losing their mucus plug like 3 weeks before they go into labor....i was due july 2nd so im hoping my labor will begin sooner than they have to induce me..like tomorrow maybe..

I started losing mine 2 weeks before but it was clear, 2 days before I lost more and it had the brownish streaks.

I started losing mine on a Sat, it continued through Monday. I woke up in labor on Tues and he was born at 2am on Wed.
Lots of labor vibes!

wow so it sounds like i can have a few more days before any of this happens ...well either way i will have my daughter by thursday or friday..but i would like her to make it before then..but she'll be here when she is good and ready ..i hope she sleeps this good when she is here..lol
