Can I use the Shark SteamMop on hardwood floors?
They're finished, but real hardwood...not laminate.

I don't use my steam mop on my wood floors... when we had them refinished, the floor guys said not to get them too wet, so I am afraid the heat and water will warp them. But I've heard mixed opinions on this. I just figure better safe than sorry!

Yes, I use it on my wood floors. The person that refinished mine said you shouldn't Soak your wood floors, damp mop. And you can use the steam once a week without a problem.
I regularly mop the floors 2 x a week and once a month I use the steam mop. I LOVE how the floors look and feel after I use it.

We were told to wash our floors with water to expand the wood and fill in scratches. We use the shark steam mop all the time on both the real hardwood and the solid prefinished hardwood.
