Apple picking?

Not close to Nassau but we took the girls last year (this exact week actually) to Windy Acres. It was easy to get to. They had in addition to the apple picking had pony rides and hay rides (for a charge). For free - they had a corn maze, tricycles, and a bunch of large wooden play structures like you see at white post farms. They also had really good roasted corn. I noticed that they did have some picnic tables and people were bringing food and eating lunch there. I would definitely go back. They also had red wagons that you could pull your child to the orchard then use the wagon to put the apples and your child in to come back.
