What's your foyer color?
Need help with the foyer, dining room great room. We want something that flows nice b.c it's all open.
Do we do dark in the foyer and up the steps in the hallway and lighter in the great room and dining room or vice versa?
Was thinking greenbrier beige for foyer, but not sure if it's too dark then we have to do lighter in the great room and dining room.
Any ideas or pics?

I have a light grey foyer and hallways. All of the colors in the house have at least some grey in them. Dusty rose, taupe, etc. All of the rooms coordinate with the grey common areas.

I have a combo of colors in my hallway, foyer, up the steps, living room, and kitchen b/c it is kind of 'open concept' and you can see all the colors from different spots - like, they are defined by the walls but they need to work in the same family or flow together because, in some areas, they go up against each other when looking at them, KWIM? So, I chose (with help from ladies on here!) BM Davenport tan (for an accent wall where I have my TV hung), BM Lenox Tan, then BM Olive Branch in the kitchen, and BM Hepplewhite Ivory in the hallway/foyer, and BM Bleeker Beige also which is a great color. Then, in my bedroom I wanted something calm but still light & bright so we did BM Nantucket Fog. 
You may be able to see some of them in my album from a couple of Christmas' ago - before we replaced the floor, we had WTW carpet before and, since the pics, we now have Brazilian Cherry flooring - much better on my allergies! HTH!
