ETA: Whoops, wrong board. But feel free to weigh in, since you've all BTDT!

Hi all! I'm a LIF poster, posting under a different screen name because I know too many people IRL. I'm late for AF--It's day 30 and since I had DC 1, I haven't had a cycle over 28 days. I tested yesterday at what I think was 11 dpo (I usually have a shorter LP) and it was negative. But I'm nauseous today and threw up this morning. The last time I threw up, I was pregnant with DC1. I was VERY sick with that pregnancy, but it didn't start until 6.5 weeks.

Is 4 weeks too early to be sick? And don't you think I would've gotten at BFP yesterday if it's strong enough to make me sick today? I may test again in the morning (didn't test today). I just don't want to get my hopes up, but this is weird!

I wasn't exactly TTC, but wasn't being careful this month either Chat Icon

It is definitely possible. I had severe nausea with my 2nd pregnancy that started a week or so before I got a BFP. Good luck!

I always knew when I got pregnant, because right away Id feel ill. I just knew it every time and was right. I knew WAY before the test showed it :)

With DS and DD I was nauseous and throwing up a few days after my missed period. With this pg it didn't start till 6 weeks. It's def possible and every pregnancy is different.

Thanks all! I tested again this afternoon--couldn't hold out and it was negative. So I'm thinking the morning sickness was just a coincidence. If there is enough hormone to make me sick, I would think it would be enough to make a positive. Oh well! Maybe I just O'd late this cycle which is why I don't have AF yet? It figures the one month there was actually a chance, I'm late--just to make me crazy!
