Day out with Thomas
Is it worth it to get Thomas tickets when DS' won't even know they are riding in the Thomas train? I've been reading the ride is short and you can't even see Thomas when your on so what is the point other than spending an extra $30 or so dollars? If you don't have the Thomas train ticket can you still participate in the Thomas activities? Tia.

Day out with Thomas
No, not worth it. That was my main complaint. You can ride the regular train for like $12. You can participate in the other stuff but there's not much. A few crappy rides that we didn't do because the lines were a mile deep and photo opps with Thomas and Hatt. Mostly shopping.

Thats what I figured. once they are older we will take a ride in thomas but right now I don't think they will know the difference. Not sure if I should buy the tickets in advance for the regular train. I plan on going there when they open to avoid the madness.

There are other rides there that you have to pay for if you don't have the thomas ticket. $2-3 per ride . We went in June and are going back in September. IMO it is worth it. We also are getting discount tickets for another train ride that day...
