Question about risk of MC
I was wondering if you already have a child does that affect the level of risk for a MC during the 2nd pregnancy or is it the same?

Re: Question about risk of MC
I don't think having a second child increases your risk. I asked my dr about this after my m/c last year. There is a 1 in 5 chance no matter the order of the child. With those odds, the dr said, if you plan to have 5 kids, the probability that you will m/c one is high.

Same from my doctor. I was taught that every pregnancy is different so the odds are the same, 1 in 5 end in m/c unfortunately.

Re: Question about risk of MC
I actually read something a while ago that said Mom's who have boys first have a higher risk of MS with a second pregnancy.
