Gall stones....
I've had a pain in my upper abdomen for the longest time, and honestly kept saying it was just the baby's head pressing my ribs bc she was breech (thou as of today she was transverse). Anyway, my OB had my high risk doctor sono my gall bladder and apparently they see gall stones. Has anyone experienced this and what did they do? Was it solved? Thanks for any info......I'm feeling like I'm spinning my own wheels lately with a million little medical issues. It's getting old fast, so when they said it today I actually had to laugh. Thanks again!

Re: Gall stones....
Crashing because I had the same thing. I would get these awful pains and I really thought it was the baby. 5 weeks after I had her, I ended up in the ER with an attack that lasted 3 days. Turns out I had gallstones and had my gallbladder removed the next morning. Best thing ever. No more attacks, no more pain, I could eat anything I want now. The surgery was a breeze- was home the same day. At this point, they will just tell you to watch your diet- nothing too greasy or fatty because that can trigger an attack and you will probably have to see a surgeon after you give birth to determine if your gallbladder needs to come out. They say it is SOOOO common in pregnancy to develop gallstones.

Gall stones....
My friend had this when she was pregnant with her DD. She ended up getting very ill (couldnt keep anything down) during her pregnancy though. After her DD was born several weeks later she had her gall bladder removed.

Right side- right under the rib cage- and radiating to the back and shoulder

Re: Gall stones....
Thanks to all for the info......its weird, my pain doesn't go to my shoulder or back- though I have a million different issues w my back right now so maybe I'm just missing it. The pain below my rib cage though is really annoying. If I'm sitting it's fine, and if I press on it it stops hurting. So strange. Waiting to hear back from my ob. Thx again for the feedback!
