EBF and no BMs for 9 days?

DS is almost 5mos old and has been EBF, I'm GF and DF because of some bowel issues when he was first born.
Since about 2mos old, he only poops every 7-10 days. At that time, ped said it was OK, but now at 4+mos, ped is worried. Last week he ruled out Hirschsprung's Disease and asked me to re-introduce gluten and dairy to my diet to get things moving plus he asked me to start solids. that was last Weds, and still no poop.
I had a fried dough/zeppoli thing last weekend that made him poop twice in three days --- but that was last Sunday....nothing since.
Ped's recommendation is to give him prune juice (2-3oz with 2-3oz water) 3x a day AND do glycerin suppositories. Should I do both -- I'd prefer to try the prune juice first then do the suppositories. Should note the baby does pass gas, just no BMs.

I would skip the ped and go directly to a pediatric GI. There seems to be SOMETHING going on, and it makes sense to me at that point to see a specialist. It could be something else in your diet or some other issue. Good luck!
