1yr old and amt of milk per day

How many oz of milk does your 1yr old get in a day? And when do you usually give it? Thanks

About 20 oz.

He gets 6 oz first thing in the morning, 6 oz before afternoon nap (around 3:30pm) and 8 oz at bedtime (around 8pm).

not much, to be honest. i BF twice a day, and the rest of the day she takes sips of water and milk here and there. for calcium, i make sure she eats plenty of yogurt and cheese.

1yr old and amt of milk per day

At one DS drank three 8oz straw cups of milk a day. One when he first got up,one after lunch and one with dinner (after I thought he ate enough) now at almost 22 months he drinks 2, in the morning and one at dinner. He is eating more yogurt and cheeses now though.

24oz, 4 6oz bottles throughout the day. One when he wakes up, one at mid morning nap, mid-afternoon nap, then bed time.

Re: 1yr old and amt of milk per day

7oz before breakfast, around 7:45am

5oz before second nap, around 3pm (not that there is always a first nap these daysChat Icon )

7oz at bedtime, 8:30pm

Pediatrician suggested to keep it under 20oz

1yr old and amt of milk per day

I offer about three 8 oz cups. One when she wakes up between 6 and 7, one around snack time at 2 and then one after dinner around 6. She sucks down the first one, usually drinks all of the second one, and rarely finishes the last one.

It varies from 16 - 26 ozs. a day. He's still getting bottles, but we are going to start transitioning to cup this week so I don't know if this will decrease his daily intake.
