Memorable things to do with kids...
Trying to think of some fun, memorable activities to do with the kiddies. Any ideas? I would say within 2-3 hrs of long island (and on long island as well!)

What age kids?
I think as long as you take pics its memorable. DS remembers doing the silliest little things b/c I took pics of them to remind him.

5, almost 4, 16 months and 3 weeks
Just trying to find ideas to get out on the weekends and do some fun things.

Think back to what you remember as a kid. I remember spending summers on the beach, so I try to do that with my kids.

Memorable things to do with kids...
They may be a little young but we're going to Improv Everywhere's mission in August. It doesn't have to be that over the top though. Grab a sheet, tie it to a tree & have a picnic in a sheet tent.
Go to the park, go on walks, blow up beachballs & throw them in your backyard. When my son was 5, one of his most memorable moments was our watergun fight.
It's not about getting them to do something. It's about the parents doing it with them that makes it memorable in my book.

i remember doing a lot of fun local stuff with my family as a kid.

hecksher park- watching the workers feed the deer and having picnics
gardiners park walking down to the beach
fishing at captree
camping at indian island
