My DS is a very active 2.5 year old. He does not seem very jealous of his 1 week old baby sister but overly protective. Thing is I'm too afraid to leave him alone in the room with her for one minute. He gently pats her head when I hold her but then when I tell him he is dong something wrong he gets rough .... hits me, patted her head a little too hard. He races to see her every minute and would jump in the crib with her if he had the chance. Anyone else go through this? Were you able to modify the behavior?
