Spots after Fever...PLEASE HELP!
My DD had a fever Fri-Tues on and off 102 being the highest. Last night she broke her fever by sweating. Today my mom is noticing light pink spots on her stomach, chest, under her eyebrow and back/shoulder. I called the Dr. but by the time he called back I need to know what this might be.
Freaking out!

Spots after Fever...PLEASE HELP!
This happens to my DD when her fever breaks...red spotty rash for about 24 hours. Happens every time and makes me crazy! Ive had her checked a couple of times when it's happened for roseola and coxsackie, and it was neither. Seems to be just how she reacts to the fever.

Rosella. The worst is over once the spots come. Ped told me its about 12 hours after the fever breaks

I wouldn't panic yet. This happens to both of my kids.

Thanks everyone...Is it contagious? she has no more fever.
Our ped said once they have the rash they are no longer contagious.

Rosella, especially if rash came after the fever broke. It's the only virus that happens with. DD had it a few weeks ago too. Dr said rash isn't contagious. Hope she feels better soon!

WAIT! it could have been fever virus - after my son has a high fever from a virus, he gets little tiny pimple looking dots on him - in random areas  might not be coxsackie etc. I would go in and see your doc.

Thanks everyone! I went to the Dr and he said its Roseola not coxsackie. He checked her throat and everything. I am so glad its not contagious. First time I am ever seeing this shes almost 22 mos.
