is there a penalty for pulling out of a daycare
do they charge a penalty?
im checking new centers out this week. i want a clean break. ( REST REMOVED FOR PRIVACY)

I believe most daycares ask for 2 weeks notice when withdrawing your child. I am not sure if they will still make you pay those two weeks even if you decide to withdraw immediately.

A lot of places will not return your deposit if you with drawn without notice.

if after all those concerns they plan to keep your money I would threaten to report them. they should be so lucky that all you want to do is remove your child.

My daycare requires a month notice and keeps the registration fee. You should have something in writing telling you what their policy is, otherwise, they don't have a policy.
