Do you really need a tandem double?
I am going to have newborn and a 1 year old! I got a City Mini double but I dont want to fuss with the infant seat adapter for my Chicco. I really need a tandem stroller right? I keep thinking that I wont be going anywhere until the new baby is old enough to just go in the City Mini without the infant seat.

There is a car seat adapter for the City Mini, you could just get that.

She was saying she doesn't want to bother with getting the adapter. Chicco car seats need a separate adapter for City Minis, the universal one doesn't fit Chicco, unfortunately!
OP, for the ages you will have, I'd highly recommend it! I got a TON of use out of mine before taking the adapter off (my older son was 22 months when his brother was born). The adapter is a little tedious to get on, but really simple to use and very easy to take off. With second babies, you tend to go out earlier andore often simply because of doing things with the older one.

How would i be sure the adapter will fit the model I have?

I'm getting the Bumbleride Indie twin, I had the single and it comes with a buckle that makes the car seat fit. You don't have to buy anything else!

I'm pretty sure they haven't made any big changes that would affect the adapter. But if you are concerned, just call customer service and ask.
