BTDT 1st bday party ?
I have 15 kids coming to a 1st birthday party at a restaurant and 40 adults. The kids ages are:
2 babies
4 less than 5 yo
4 that are 8 yo
5 that are 10-15
With that age range do I need a DJ to come for an hour or 2? I'm party-clueless! We were going to just pay songs off our ipod and have some blow up guitars, and games but are now starting to be concerned it will be too boring for the kids. It's this summer and I'll feel bad if all the kids are just staring at each other.
TIA for advice!

BTDT 1st bday party ?
Maybe make a craft table. Coloring,stickers,etc...
Maybe the older kids can organize a game of freeze dance
older kids can make jewelry

I did a craft table at DDs birthday!
I have play doh out, coloring sheets, crayons, make your own mugs and a big tray of fruit loops and laces to make necklaces they could also munch on.
The fruit loop necklaces went over very very very well.
Ours was outside, so I also had bubbles and the water table set up.

BTDT 1st bday party ?
I was thinking about hiring an entertainment company to do magic, face painting or balloon animal making for about a hour or so.
