Town & Country Owners???

Today we looked at the Town & Country and fell in love with it, but I don't know many people that have it. Pleaee give me the pros and cons? Do you lease or finance? We are trying to decide on what to do. We are also looking at the Nissan Quest tomorrow.

TIA

Re: Town & Country Owners???

We have had the Town and Country for a little over a year and absolutely LOVE it! We financed it. Back in April we drove round trip from NJ to Florida in it and just last week we drove round trip from NJ to Michigan. I really don't have any cons about it. But then again, I really don't care much about cars and am not that picky. The car came with the DVD player and the screens that come down from the roof, so that is very helpful on long car rides. I love that I can move around in the car if I need to when my DH is driving. But that would probably be the same for any minivan.

I will preface by saying this is my first American car.... Also I have had 3 new cars in the last 6 years so the features are nice but since I had them on all the cars I wasn't overly wowed by them the way I would have been if I were driving an older car before this ( touch screen traffic nav, tvs/dvd, back up camera, blu tooth, etc)

I love some of the features and conveninces with small children. Its very easy to get the kids loaded in and out... doors open and close from front nicely. Trunk can open and close from keys or front of the car.

As an actual car... I am SO HAPPY I leased and did not buy this thing. Its IMHO a POS. I can not wait to return it. It is less then two years old and VERY low miles. It is on its second pair of warped brakes - There was a recall on this and they took my car and $100 and replaced them. Within a few thousand miles they were destroyed again. The car vibrates and shakes when you brake even lightly. They use brakes that are too weak for the weight of the car. It is a known issue if you google it, yet they keep replacing them with the same subpar product.
Every little thing rattles ( I have less then 18k miles on it), I feel like everything on it is very cheap. It just doesn't drive/feel the same anymore.

Again in the past I had higher end cars so maybe I am spoiled but I didn't expect it to be this bad after less then two years.

My parents have it and absolutely hate it. There are so many blind spots and the pick-up is awful. They bought and have regretted it ever since.

I was looking into buying it as well. My aunt told me that the reviews were not that great though. I don't want something that needs to be fixed all the time.

Same. I did a smart buy so in 3 more years, IM OUT OF THIS CAR!

Thankfully my boys will be 5 and I wont be in need of it as much. for now it serves the purpose.
