If your infant falls asleep somewhere other than crib/basinett close to bed time..
Do you transfer your LO to the crib/basinett or leave them in peace there for the night? My DD will often fall asleep in her swing and she is so peaceful that I just leave here there and she STTN. What do you do?

On the rare occassions that my DD actually slept at night- I would NEVER risk disturbing her and waking her to transfer her anywhere! So she slept whereve she was- bouncy seat, swing, my arms, etc...

I always transferred mine to their cirbs - always.
I have two kids that will fall asleep and stay asleep anywhere ......so I am lucky.
If they woke very easiy or were the type that didn't go back to sleep after you moved them, I probably wouldn't have been so adamant about moving them to their cirbs !!

only when we are out and it is past her bedtime and she falls asleep in the car seat..i will leave her in the car seat until she wakes up - whenever that is...but if in the house i always bring her upstairs to her bassinet for now - crib in the very near future!

we never moved DD when she fell asleep in the swing or bouncer. she would usually wake up at some point in the middle of the night anyway.
