flying from NY to CA
Hi
I have an airplane question...we are heading out west with our 15 month old tomorrow...
I have his pack and play, stroller, carseat and backpack carrier to haul (not to mention our luggage).
For those of you who have flown, what did you gate check and what did you just check with the luggage?
TIA CarrieAnn

Re: flying from NY to CA
The only thing I've ever checked at the gate was the stroller. Everything else was checked in with my luggage. Just be sure to ask for a plastic bag for your carseat to go in. If there is bad weather in CA, you don't want to have to put the baby in a wet car seat... and you also don't want it to get dirty.

Re: flying from NY to CA
When I flew from the UK to NY with my little one I checked in our luggage (and would have checked the car seat, but they let me bring ito n the plane) and when I got to the gate I preboarded and they took my stroller at the gate. It was relatively painless and I was flying on my own with a 4 month old baby.
