Side effects?
I did my first ivf shot of gonal f last night...and it wasn't bad at all... Should I be expecting any side effects like bloating or anything? Also after how many days of stims?

You may be a little achy bc your follies will be growing and you might feel bloated but its not bad....
Im so excited for you.
Everyone is different and your protocol is specific to you based on your monitoring and progress....

Side effects?
I had bloating from stims starting about 3 days into it. But I also hyperstimulated so I'm not sure I am the best to go off of. That was really my only symptom though.

i usually didnt get bloating until several days into stims. also lots of twinges and dull cramping.

I didn't get bloated until the very end of stims, but I had lots of twinges as my ovaries were very active.

not at first- the bloating kicked in closer to the retrieval

When I take the gonal-f I get a weird taste...kinda how it smells. Don't k ow of anyone else experienced this but it happens every time I take it.

I am on Day 3 on injections with Gonal F and so far no side effects. Last time, I could feel my ovaries moving inside me 2 days before my ER.

Side effects?
No bloating really, but a war going on inside as I produced s:)o many follies.... nothing really uncomfortable, just "whoa" once in awhile :)

the bloat came on after a while but i stimmed for a while bc i am a notorious slow responder
