Convertible car seats...so many choices ...need advice
Need some advice please.... I am in the process of ordering our convertible car seats and after reading the reviews in the Baby Bargains book, I am thorn between the Britax Boulevard, the Marathon, the Evenflo Triumph Advance, the First years True Fit and the Recaro ProRide (all around the same price range and A grade from the book review).
Which one do you use? and recommend? I like the Britax but I notice that they don't have much padding...does that make a difference? I want the boys to be safe (first) and comfortable as well : )
Thanks you so much!!!

I have 3 Evenflo Triumphs. Love them. They are half the price of the Britax and fit better in my car. DS is very comfy in it.

Re: Convertible car seats...so many choices ...need advice
I had the marathon for ds (boulevard didn't exist back then) and it was fine....boulevard for dd and now the Diono Radian seats as they are the narrowist and we can fit 2 across and then ds's booster seat (can technically fit 3 of these across 2nd row if needed). The diono seats are heavy b/c they have a metal frame, but offer the BEST side impact protection.
Not sure what kind of car you drive but the fact that the marathon and boulevard (or any Britax seat for that matter) sits up on sort of a pedestal makes it hard to fit....hope that makes some sense...
HTH!!!

I love the Evenflo Triumph. The knob makes is so easy to adjust the straps. I hate all other carseats after using this one and I had it for all of my kids.

We have the Britax Marathon 70. DS has been in it since 10 months, he is now 14 months and we have had no problems. He seems comfortable and it fits in my DH's small car no problem (we have 1 for each car).
