If blood work says I O'd does that mean an egg was released?
Just was wondering if its possible to have blood work say I O'd when in fact an egg didn't release. I'm late and keep getting bfn. My dr went she did the sono didn't see any follicles on day 15 but I had o pain and got a positive on day 14. She wasn't sure if I O'd but she called me on sat and said I did per blood tests. I'm over thinking things here but I'm getting nervous. I've never been late, never skipped a period and all of my pms symptoms have gone away except for my boobs which are killing me even when I walk.

Your dr can draw blood at about 7-10 days past ovulation to check your progesterone level. They look for at least 10 to show a good ovulation.

Are you on progesterone? That could delay things...
