I don't mean this the way it might sound but....
Does anyone else read other pregnancy or IF boards and feel that the people sound so....uneducated on the subject? I know this sounds horrible, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

i don't generally go onto some of the other forums because they list underneath like their "signatures" everything they have done, including losses and everything else and it just sounds depressing.
i wouldn't say that they are less informed, at least the sites i have been on though

yes.
as far as preg boards go unfortunately we only know what we know because of what we go through. if we got pregnant by accident we would never know anything, and if we never had losses or so much riding on IVF and other treatments we would generally have happy carefree unanxious pregnancies.
i have a friend that just had her 4th baby. she has NO idea when she ovulates.

I meant common knowledge stuff like when your pregnant you see an ob gyn. Not the detail we discuss here.

Most of the other boards are national. This board is region specific. For the most part LIF caters to NYC and LI which on the whole tend to be better educated than the rest of the country.
So, it doesn't surprise me.
