JJ Cole Body Support Question
Is this needed? I see some people use it and some dont. How do you know if you need it?
Will it be too hot for this since Im due 7/1?

Don't use anything in a car seat that doesn't come with the car seat. These extra accessories aren't crash tested with the seats, so you don't know what they'd do in an accident. Your manual will say the same thing.

I registered for and got one at my shower, but ended up returning it. My carseat seems to have enough head support and like above poster said, I heard you are not supposed to use anything other than carseat approved items in it (at least when driving, I guess...).
Plus, like you said, maybe it'll be hot? I thought maybe if she needs more head support I'd put a blanket around her head (when not driving around).
