Nail Polish
Are you ladies using nail polish? What about in the first trimester?
I read there is an ingredient that could be harmful but that Sally Hanson doesn't use it - anyone else hear of this ?

Re: Nail Polish
I always use nail polish that is free of formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate, all these ingredients can supposedly cause cancer. I don't know if regular nail polish would do any harm, but its easy enough to avoid.

This...I bought Scotch and Zoya nail polish brands. I just bring them with me when I go. I bought the base and top coats too

Re: Nail Polish
i know ob's dont tell you not to use nailpolishes, but in general nail polishes and the removers used are probably not good for your body. while you may not see acute effects from it, you never know what it could potentially cause.
with that being said, i have not been using nail polish during this pregnancy until just recently. and when i do, i just use a safer product like butter london.

Re: Nail Polish
I've been getting my nails done/doing them myself. I read online if you go to a salon just make sure it's ventilated or try to sit near a window so you're not breathing in all those fumes.

Re: Nail Polish
neither essie or OPI use the harmful chemicals, so i've been told it's ok to use them.
