Cramping after IUI?
I triggered on Monday night and went in for the IUI on Tuesday morning.
Since Tuesday, I've had cramping in my side, probably from ovulating although its really only on my right side, so maybe i am ovulating from the right this time
The cramps have gotten significantly worse and now every once in a blue moon i have a cramp more in the middle, i guess where the uterus is.
Anyone else experience anything like this?

Re: Cramping after IUI?
Weren't you monitored? Which side did they see the follie on? That's the side you'd O from.
Did you surge naturally before your trigger? If you triggered on Monday night, you wouldn't ovulate until sometime on Wednesday. I'm surprised your IUI was Tuesday. RMA always does my 36 hours later. Unless...did you do a b2b?
As for the cramping...I usually cramp from Oing on the trigger. So I triggered on Friday and had cramps on Sunday. I've had 3 IUIs now and I only had minor cramps from one of my IUIs. But, cramping after an IUI is totally normal.

i triggered on Monday night. When i went in on Monday morning for my sono, Dr. Grunfeld said i hadn't yet ovulated and that he would do the IUI on Tuesday. I did not do a b2b IUI. just the one. He told me that they wanted the sperm in there before i ovulated to make sure they would be there to "Greet" the follicles. He also let me know to last night to add more fuel to the fire, so to speak.
I called themtoday and they let me know that some cramping was normal and not to worry about it.

I agree with the above post. HcG trigger makes you ovulate 36 hours later. Im surprised they triggered you and did the IUI the next day. I have done 9 medicated IUI's and all were the day after my surge.
Cramping is totally normal. Id have sex today to just for insurance

Re: Cramping after IUI?
Ah, ok. That makes a bit more sense, but I still would have assumed the IUI at 24 hours. We are using frozen sperm so it doesn't live as long so we have to time ours perfect.
Regardless, I totally trust Dr Grunfeld. He knows what he's doing.
Good luck! We're in our 2ww together. I had my IUI on Sunday. 3dpiui!

This makes me feel better, that i'm not the only one who went in the next day for her IUI instead of the day after
