So, speaking of bach parties ...
Im the MOH at my future sister in laws wedding. I'll be almost 30 weeks for her bach party. The plan is to go to Newport, RI. So a 3.5 hour drive for me at the end of July.
Im planning on driving up there so at least I'll have my car just in case I want to/have to come home. But is it okay to be driving alone that way at 30 weeks? Going and hanging out on a beach all day and then theyre planning on going out at night.
How do women feel at 30 weeks? Is this going to be feasible for me?

I would be fine driving. For the beach I would make sure to have plenty of bottles of cold water and some food, as far as going out.. Lol depends on how tired you are.

I felt ok at 30 weeks. Stop for pee/stretch breaks and the drive should be fine. Bring a lot of water to the beach. Rest if you have to. I'm sure the girls will understand if you're too tired to go out.

Re: So, speaking of bach parties ...
I was told to stop every hour to hour and a half after around 28 weeks when going for a long drive. I wasn't allowed to go more than an hour from home/the hospital after 34 weeks because my OB was afraid a long car ride would induce labor (pre-term labor runs in my family -- didn't happen to me, though; DD was born one day early lol).
I think at 30 weeks, you'll be fine. Just stop a lot for breaks and keep hydrated the whole time. (You'll need the breaks to pee anyway lol.)

you're going to have a blast!! you can also take the Orient Point ferry to New London and drive about 1hr to Newport and then you're not driving you'll be able to relax in the sun on the ferry!
