IVF consult scheduled

Trying since June 2011
DH SA all good
Me - elevated FSH at 26
long cycles

CD 14 FSH (3/19/12) = 24
CD3 FSH (4/14/12) = 26
AMH 1.6

CD 2/3 FSH 20.5 (5/18/12)
LH was also high.. appears my body is confused and trying to ovulate more/again.

Doctor just called with my re-test for FSH that I did this morning. It appears the test was right, it is still in the 20's. She is concerned the my AMH was still ok and wants to re-test it to make sure it was accurate, with my FSH levels, my AMH should be much lower. Since my mother has problems with her T3 and T4 levels, I have requested she test those as well. Going for blood tomorrow.

Assuming AMH is right, even if it isn't, she recommends injectibles and IVF. If I don't respond well to the meds then we can convert it to an IUI, if I do we will do the IVF.

Alot to process. But if my AMH is accurate, that with the fact that i do appear to ovulate and she saw follicles, she is somewhat optimistic I will respond well.

I am so overwhelmed.
