why would AF change? Update
I typically have a 28 day cycle. Typically I ovulate on cd 15. This month I had not by the 15th and stopped checking. Now on cd24 AF came with a horrid vengeance.
Any thoughts? I'm crawled up in a ball even with 800mg of Motrin.
Thanks
Update: apparently my tsh was high so I need to up my meds.
Thanks for all your help

Re: why would AF change?
I had a cycle like that a few months ago and it was because I didn't ovulate that month. My Gyn said it's nothing to be concerned about as long as it was an isolated incident and to just chalk it up to being a woman, it happens.
Don't stress it.

I was going to suggest this. It's typical to have an anovulatory cycle once in a while. It should go back to normal next month.
