RSVP Worries
My mom told me that for the past week and a half, no one has RSVP'ed with her regarding the baby shower. We are still waiting to hear back from ~30 people (but they still have another week and a half to respond). I just always feel like the RSVP date usually comes and goes and we end up having to hassle people to find out whether or not they can make it.
Right now we have only 16 yes and 20 have said no. We have a 30 person minimum and I am soooo worried we are not going to make it!!! I'd hate for my parents to have to spend so much money for it to go to waste. A house party would have been much easier.

people always wait till the last minute and sorry to say sometimes they do not even bother and u have to track them down and then u get the oh u knew i was coming
hope they start rolling in for you

Ugh .. brings me back to the wedding RSVP's... what a nightmare. Good luck!! Hopefully you wont have to track people down.

That is annoying....i guess people will need to be nudged. Maybe if it is too far in advance they figured they had time and then forgot.

People always wait until the last minute... Its very frustrating and in my opinion rude, especially when the response is no.
Same as you a week would go by with no RSVP calls and then all of a sudden the last day or the day after the RSVP date people started calling my mother or texting me to tell me yes or no. It was soo annoying.
I dont understand why people do that. When I receive an invitation I respond right away.
Just wait until you start registry stalking!

People are always late to RSVP! My RSVP date came and went and my mom (she is NUTS about RSVPs and hassles people a week before the actual date) made me hunt people down for answers. Don't worry, I am sure you'll meet your minimum!!!
