donating cord blood
DH and I are interested in donating the cord blood after are born. I looked on the ny blood bank website, and our hospital (good sam) is not on the list.
Do you if they have something in-house where couples can donate? TIA

Re: donating cord blood
Maybe ask your OB about it? They usually know what the procedure is at the hospitals they deliver at.

ITA - i asked my doctor (LIJ) and was told i can fill out the paperwork on the day of delivery as long as it's Mon - Fri (they don't accept donations on weekends).
good luck finding info about good sam and yay for wanting to donate!
