First Prenatal visit with Dr. Trongone
I have my first prenatal visit at the end of next month. Was just wondering what I should expect- I'll be 8 weeks by then.
If it makes a difference, Dr. Trongone is my OB. I'm a new patient, so I've never met him before, but heard wonderful things! So was just wondering if any of his patients could add anything.
Also,if anyone can tell me where he does the weighing (in the exam room, in bathroom, etc- I know different Drs. have different locations for scale) I know it sounds silly, but I already threatened DH that he is not to look or listen!
TIA!

Re: First Prenatal visit with Dr. Trongone
I switched to Dr. Trongone after finding out I was pregnant and have been so happy with the way things have gone. He's very kind as are his nurses and office staff. Weigh ins happen in the exam rooms so if DH is in there with you he will see it. Maybe just have DH look away and ask the nurse not to say anything out loud? I never had an issue with DH knowing but I'm sure others do. At my first appointment I had an exam, internal sono, and then we went into his office to go over the typical information. He's pretty laid back in terms of what he doesn't want you to eat. He's definitely not an alarmist. I've always felt that anything he does is for good reason. DH and I both really like him.

Thank you so much! I've heard such great things about him and his staff- I can't wait to meet him
