So at 26 weeks
I call to switch practices and was told that I was too far along. I'm in shock i didn't think a dr would deny me at this point since I've heard of women changing drs at 30 weeks.

Hmmm. Must be a policy at that particular practice. I just switched practices at 29 weeks with no issues.

I switched practices at 20 weeks and when I called the new one the receptionist needed to make sure the Dr would take me. Not all Drs will take patients that are more than halfway through their pregnancy unless it is because of a person moving into the area.

Call another practice! DH and I made friends with a couple in our childbirth class, and they liked what we told them about my midwife. She wound up switching at 37 weeks!
