Am I allowed on this board?
We have been TTC for 10 months now. I had blood work done a few weeks ago and my FSH level was high. They retested me this wknd on day 3... and just called with results. its a 26... should be single digits. He said its reading as if I am in menopause, I have very few good eggs left and has referred me to a specialist.
Any have a similar experience. I can't stop crying right now.

Im so sorry Chris... strangely enough, my FSH from this cycle (my first IVF) was also 26... its never been that high before (its usually single digits) so we are hoping for lab error but it makes me very nervous that it might not be...
ETA: i just wanted to add that all my Dr told me was that we would just have to do a more agressive protocol to see if we can make as many follies as possible... to freeze and use in the future...

I'm so sorry! I think we all remember the day we found out we were facing issues TTC. While you feel helpless now, I promise you this isn't the end of the road!
Go talk to an RE and see what he has to say. You aren't the first person to have elevated FSH and there are so many options for you out there. The worst case is you move onto IVF which will not be easy, but will give you the best odds at conceiving.

Sorry to hear that..
With FSH high like this I would go and see Dr Davis from Cornell..I wouldn't waste my time with anyone else at this point...
Most IVF clinics will not take patients with FSH over 15....Cornell might be the only one....
ETA: Cornell has the highest success % with woman with high FSH.....

My fsh level was 14 over a year and a half ago. My AMH was 2.3 i think. God my memory is horrible.
I saw Dr. Stelling in stonybrook. I now have a 3 month old. 
Have you had your AMH tested? or day3 sono (AFC) to see how many resting follicles you have?
Trust me, you can still get pregnant. I have talked to several women with fsh levels way above yours and they were all able to get pregnant.

Not... I have not had my AMH tested yet. I have an appointment with Dr. Palter next week... but I might call some other doctors as well.

I also had high fsh and got PG the first time via IVF and have healthy twin boys. My theory was I had low chances so I did everything I could. Followed certain dietary restrictions, acupuncture, etc. I had 8 eggs, 5 fertilized, 5 survived to day 3 and 2 were implanted. the rest arrested by day 5.

This is not the end of the road..just the beginning and although it's hard now you will be on thenpath to have you baby! I'm so sorry I know it's tough. I don't have similar experience but wish you lots of luck on your journey
