Weirdest Cycle
Had my first Dr. Appt today and the sono reads me at 6 weeks 2 days. I thought I was at 8 weeks.
Last period was on 2/17 and my cycle are irregular have gone anywhere from 32-36 days.
According to the doc I conceived around march 17 which would have been only a few days before AF was due.
It's a blessing in a disguise because I had a mammogram on March 14 having no idea I might be pregnant, but I wasn't yet pregnant so the doctor said there is no risks thank God. (otherwise they were going to send me to a genetic specialist because of the radiation)
I was just wondering has anyone else had a weird thing like this, ovulating so late?
And we did see the heartbeat flickering so my little peanut is doing well

When you have irregular cycles, anything can happen!
With DD, I conceived on CD47. With #2, I conceived on CD83.
Will they have you back in for another sono in a week or two to check progress? As long as the second measurements match these, everything should be progressing perfectly. I went in at 7 w 4 d (or so the baby measured) this time and then 8 days later had a second sono and the baby measured 8 w 5 d -- so exactly the right growth expected. At 12 w 2 d for my NT u/s, the baby was still measuring exactly on track. So I go by the EDD they calculated that first appointment.
With DD, they estimated me at exactly 8 w my first appointment and I used that EDD. DD was born exactly one day early. So those measurements are very good!
